1. Basic dog body shapes
Draw a small circle for the head and an oval shape underneath it for the body. This will be your starting construction. 
2. Highlighting facial features
Inside the circle, add two small circles for the eyes and a small triangle for the nose. The ears can be lowered or raised up – it's your choice. 
3. Contouring the body
Add limbs to the body – front and back legs, then the tail. Try to keep the shapes soft and natural. 
4. Refinement of details
Fix the lines, add fur texture, give the eyes more emotion. 
5. Adding colors
Choose your favorite colors – brown, black, white or a mix. Adding shadows will give the drawing volume.
